Fee Brothers Falernum, West Indies Style
- 32 oz. Bottle (0.946L)
- For mixed drinks, coffees and dessert toppings
Falernum Syrup (pronounced pronounced fah-learn-um) is often called for in tropical and caribbean cocktails. You'll find it sometimes in a Mai Tai or a Rum Swizzel along with the famous Zombie cocktail and many others. If you happen to have Orgeat Syrup your on the right track but you'l find less almond-syrup flavors within this bottle of Falernum but no doubt you'll find the intense ginger notes along side the muted almond.
We get a bit of clove and lime and a definite syrup sweetness that, alone, could simply be placed on ice and sipped with some club soda to water it down and bring out more flavor. Or, utilize it in place (or conjunction) with orgeat.
A great product for any bar to have on hand for some wild tiki/polynesian tropical drinks. As my daughter always says, Don't Squeeze, Use Fees!
