Six locking clips form a water tight seal. Turn it upside down, fill with water, leaving a 1 inch air gap, and plug the fill hole (plug included). Freeze 7 to 8 hours. When it's party time, remove the sleeve and set it in the drip tray (included). The ice jacket melts very slowly at a rate of an ounce an hour.
